How Can We Survive?

How are we expected to survive,

six feet under, buried alive?

Hard earned savings not secure,

bankers stealing from the poor.

Police diabolically molesting souls,

stripped naked, tied to street poles.

Politicians playing hide and seek,

their conscience no longer slick

Prophet of doom, the preacher,

preaching satanic verses, the teacher.

Nations devastated by imperialism,

under siege from neo-colonialism.

Their plain agenda, arming dictators,

still I’m warning you, these traitors,

coming in wolf skins, people savaged,

unarmed, mutilated, butchered, ravaged
