Did you see it sneaking not by the

door but window into your mansion?

Daylight faceless thief armed

with an unknown, but on mission.

Did you see it flying uninvited

under the roof into your hut?

When avalanche heavily blanketed,

kept blast-furnace tightly shut.

Did you hear it creeping quietly

under the door into your bedroom?

Money like spirit, evaporated out

of bank, mayhem in boardroom.

Did you feel blazing heat waves?

Economical earthquake shock-waves

hammering, blistering across the globe

prompting investigation with probe.

Did you anticipate the quagmire?

Money disappearing into thin air,

nobody saw it. A price everybody paid

but poisonous, intoxicating bonuses paid
